Here is an introduction to the international exchanges between Bulgaria and Japan, sponsored by SANIX HOLDINGS INC.
In 2001, Shinichi Munemasa, the founder of our company, visited Bulgaria and was deeply impressed by the country's folk dances, rhythmic gymnastics, and the character of its people. This inspired him to organize the "Bulgaria and Candle Christmas" event in Japan in December of the same year. Since then, we have been hosting the "Bulgaria Festival" every autumn, offering an opportunity to experience Bulgarian culture and sports.

Since 2003, we have been organizing the "SANIX Cup International Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics Group Tournament" annually to promote junior rhythmic gymnastics and provide a platform for showcasing the results of daily training. The tournament, which started as a competition for Japanese children, became an international event in 2012, featuring teams from strong rhythmic gymnastics countries. It has offered a valuable opportunity as a rare international rhythmic gymnastics competition in Japan.
Furthermore, starting in 2017, we launched the "SANIX Open Rhythmic Gymnastics Team Championships" as a platform for young athletes aiming to compete in official domestic and international competitions.
The Levski Rhythmic Gymnastics Club from Bulgaria participates in both tournaments, contributing to the improvement of participants' skills and international exchanges.

The Kazanlak Folk Dance Ensemble from the city of Kazanlak, located in the center of Bulgaria, visited Japan. Founded in 1947, the Kazanlak Folk Dance Ensemble is a youth dance troupe with the longest tradition in Bulgaria.
