SUSTAINABILITY ENVIRONMENT
House
Creating a society where “connecting comfortable residential environments to the next generation” is the norm"
Wood decay and termite damage in residential buildings, as well as the deterioration of water supply and drainage pipes in buildings and apartments, are hidden factors that shorten the lifespan of valuable structures. At the Sanix Group, we promote total maintenance from the perspective of "preventive medicine" (the philosophy of preventing issues before they arise). Furthermore, we contribute to the realization of a comfortable and hygienic life that is passed down through generations, through solar power generation, renovations, and urban space hygiene management.
▼Progress of KPIs
Fiscal Year | 2021 | 2022 | 2023 |
---|---|---|---|
Houses with termite disinfection | 824,000 | 830,000 | 835,000 |
Water supply and drainage pipe maintenance and management | 37,000 | 38,000 | 39,000 |
▼Main initiatives in 2024
Strengthening continuous alliances through business partnerships with companies and organizations
● Collaboration to expand sales opportunities (such as mutual aid associations in local governments, cooperative organizations for businesses, and real estate management companies)
● Collaboration to expand services that contribute to reducing the environmental impact and increasing the lifespan of residential buildings Partners include solar power PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) providers, house cleaning service providers, and residential equipment repair support companies.
- Collaboration with "Osouji Kakumei," a professional house cleaning service.
Energy
Creating a society where “energy with low environmental impact” is the norm
Decarbonization is now a common challenge for all humankind. In Japan, this trend has been accelerating since the 2050 Carbon Neutral Declaration.
We propose the most appropriate form of solar power generation systems to meet the needs of our customers. From installation to maintenance, we support the promotion of environmental management and the spread of renewable energy.
▼Progress of KPIs
Fiscal Year | 2021 | 2022 | 2023 |
---|---|---|---|
Solar power sales and installation (in-house installation only) | 48,000 | 49,000 | 50,000 |
*Total figures for residential and industrial use
▼Main initiatives in 2024
● Undertaking the installation of solar power systems for companies and organizations (e.g., Kyushu Sangyo University, Toko Metal Co., Ltd. Chiba Factory, etc.)
● Selected as a contractor for local government solar power installation projects (e.g., Kumamoto Prefecture government facilities, Tokushima Prefecture Naruto City Boat Race Naruto, Fukuoka Prefecture Sasaguri Town Hoku-Seimon school district public facilities)
- Kyushu Sangyo University
- Toko Metal Co., Ltd. (Chiba Factory)
Waste
Creating a society where “not wasting” is the norm
Since the creation of a sustainable society has become a common social issue, the adequate disposal and recycling of industrial waste is an important theme.
Our group contributes to the creation of a circulation-oriented society through businesses that consider the global environment for the next generation, such as the recycling of waste plastics into fuel and the purification and recycling of waste liquids discharged from food factories.
▼Progress of KPIs
Fiscal Year | 2021 | 2022 | 2023 |
---|---|---|---|
Waste plastic treatment volume (million ton) |
5.6 | 5.9 | 6.2 |
Waste liquid treatment amount (million ton) |
2.4 | 2.5 | 2.6 |
▼Main initiatives in 2024
● Expanded production line for recycled fuel “Recycle Oil Bio,” which separates and recovers only the oil content from waste liquids and sludge, to double the previous capacity
● Relaunched the centralized waste management system “Ichigen-kun” series and started a promotional campaign to encourage the use of the system for waste-generating businesses

Global Warming
Environmental issues such as global warming, environmental pollution, and resource depletion have reached a stage where measures need to be taken on a global scale, and “creation of a sustainable society” has now become a world common understanding. This is clearly reflected in the SDGs adopted by the United Nations, the Paris Agreement adopted at COP21, and the Circular Economy Action Plan announced by the European Union. In Japan, starting with the Carbon Neutral Declaration for the year 2050, various policies have been rapidly shifting to those based on establishment of a sustainable society.
Sanix Group is reducing carbon dioxide emissions by promoting the installation of solar power generation systems at its own facilities.
▼Target and Progress of KPIs
